Blas Leonilo Aguero, 64, born in Leander, Texas on January 17, 1952 died peacefully in his home in Mustang Ridge, Texas on September 22, 2016.

Mr. Aguero was a simple man, a loving man, a man of respect, a man of wisdom and most of all a man of faith.

His door was always open to those in need and he was always there to lend a helping hand. Family was everything to him, family came first, and he loved so unconditionally. Everyone he met was a friend to him. When he talked everyone would listen. He always had advice to help lead us in the right direction. He thanked God everyday for all his blessings. Now he joins our Heavenly Father above.

He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Abigail Colima-Aguero. His parents Juan Gabriel Aguero and Sadie Garcia, as well as seven sisters and nine brothers. He is survived by his wife, Carol B. Aguero, his son John P. Aguero, his daughters Mary Stout, Sadie Aguero, Gabriela Colima-Aguero and Lori Rodriguez. His eight grandchildren Lilyana Aguero, Samantha Stout, PV2 Kristina Alvarado, Leonilo Aguero, Carlitos Colima-Aguero, Carissia Rodriguez, Lorenzo Rodriguez and Guillermo Rodriguez.

Services will be held at Austin Peel & Son Monday, September 26, 2016, Viewing from 3-8pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm. Prayer service at 10am on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the funeral home followed by burial at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander, Texas.

His most valued sayings:
"No somos ricos, pero tenemos todo"
"Gracias a Diosito por darme orto dia con mi familia"
"El que mande esta en el cielo"
